Another Monster Uncovered in the Public Schools

Another Monster has been uncovered in the public schools. David Bueti, a Canadian public school teacher has sexually assaulted multiple victims in the high school where he taught. According to CBC News, Police arrested Bueti, age 41. He is a teacher and rugby coach at a Steinbach, Man., high school and is accused of sexual offenses against six female students ranging in age from 15 to 18.

Sarah Crawford’s son had Bueit as a typing teacher, and even though her son was not personally assaulted, it has obviously come as a shock to him and everyone in the school. In a phone call, she shares they were “Very surprised. This was a teacher who was well-liked, was really, really nice to (her son). She continued, “This is a teacher that most of our children have had some sort of contact with -either directly as a teacher or in passing through the hallways. It’s scary that a potential predator is that close to our children.”

The preditor has now been placed on leave and dismissed from the school but still remains on the streets while the investigation is ongoing. Besides the trauma these specific children have to endure, there is the question of other schools where Bueti has taught. David taught at multiple different schools, including a couple of Catholic Schools. There are no known cases from these previous establishments, but authorities are encouraging any other victims that may have been from years past to come forward.

Our Take on Monster Uncovered in the Public Schools:

At first glance, this monster appears to be a very trustworthy, friendly guy. The kids all liked him, and he had gained their friendship. THIS is why our kids are not safe in the public school system. How many victims will it take? How many children will need to be assaulted and traumatized before we wake up and realize the danger our kids are in when we turn them over to the system of the state? And beyond that, private schools are not all safe zones either. Seemingly religious schools are full of predators as well. Parents, protect your children, no matter what age they are!
